How are Indians guys? Are they dateable? Guys and Girls Opinions welcome.?

I like a guy he's Indian (from this city called Maharasta). He's kind of short but taller than me, My friends say all they do is study and stick with their own people and are really racist and aren't open to having fun. The guy I like does only have mostly Indian friends but he doesn't have a creeper accent and he seems to be really nice when I see him talking to other people. He plays on our high school soccer team. He does seem really studious and is really smart but I know for a fact he's never out partying and stuff because I go to most the party's at our school. It's funny because he really doesn't really talk to popular girls that much but once I saw him help a girl when she ran out of gas on the side of the road near our school. Also I heard Indian guys are really shy but this one talks a mouthful and laughs alot. Is he dateable? Will he judge me? I party and drink occassionally and I am not really a hardcore studious nerd but I kind of like him.
