Would a pair of Aphyosemion australe be compatible with a male betta and some guppies in a 5 gallon tank?

The tank is 5 gallons with a big clump of java moss that covers the right half of the tank. The betta is relatively shy (does not even flare at other male bettas), and I plan on moving out some of the guppies. There are also cherry shrimp (or dwarf red shrimp) in the tank.
